Six-well RCBL and Toe Prep Campaign Successfully Delivered

On this project: validate cement quality across long laterals and prepare each well for fracture initiation at the toe with a consistent, low-NPT wireline workflow.

RCBL – We deployed radial cement bond logging to evaluate cement integrity in 360°, confirming top of cement, identifying channeling or micro-annulus, and tying in at stage collars and build sections. This gave the completions team confidence before stimulation.

Toe Prep – Pump-down wireline runs verified drift, cleaned the toe with brush/magnet assemblies, confirmed measured depth, and activated or verified toe sleeves. Each well was left frac-ready after a final pressure integrity check.

Operational Highlights
-Consistent pump-down performance along 10k–12k ft laterals
-Accurate correlation with CCL + gamma, eliminating depth uncertainty
-Debris recovered at toes that could have impacted frac initiation
-Zero safety incidents and minimal NPT across all six wells

Why it matters: Reliable cement evaluation reduces remedial costs, while disciplined toe prep ensures smooth Stage 1 initiation, protecting zipper frac schedules and improving flowback diagnostics.

A huge thanks to the wireline, drilling, and completions teams on location in Midland for the safe, efficient, and repeatable delivery of this multi-well campaign.
