The Annular BOP Packing Element is one of the most critical sealing components in a drilling rig’s Well Control System. Its primary function is to maintain a reliable pressure seal around the drill string, casing, or open hole, ensuring safe and efficient well control operations.
Replacing the packing element is far more than a routine maintenance task—it is a critical operation that directly impacts personnel safety, equipment integrity, and operational reliability.
