However, stripper has many types to suit different conditions and we will talk about all of them in brief

1-Conventional stripper : basic design, difficult to change stripper inserts. pressure assisted to seal.
2-Side door stripper: easier to change stripper inserts, not pressure assisted in most models
3-Radial stripper: stripper elements are energized from the side (radial), allowing a relatively large insert to be used, It does not have fully retractable inserts
4-Sidewinder stripper: ability to fully retract the stripper elements
and wear bushings, allowing BHA to be inserted through stripper, replaced radial stripper as better version.
5-Over/under stripper: two individual strippers in one stripper body (conventional and side door), reduces height instead of using tandem strippers.
6-Two side door stripper: two independent packers that can be changed through a side door. (side door and side door)
7-Subsea Triple Stripper: three independent packers that can be changed through a side door.
8-Tandem strippers: just single strippers( whatever type) installed above each other (consider end connections).
